Above all, Harbor is a catalyst to encourage its founders and visitors alike to pursue all things creative + design.
WE ARE AN ARTIST, INTERIOR DESIGNER, BUYER AND MAKER SEEKING TO INTRODUCE OUR COMMUNITY TO A ONE-STOP DESIGN RESOURCE. ASIDE FROM A PLACE TO DISCOVER AND PURCHASE UNIQUE ITEMS, OUR GOAL IS TO UNVEIL THE CREATIVE PROCESSES BY OFFERING A GLIMPSE BEHIND-THE-SCENES. WHETHER IT BE WATCHING AN ARTIST PAINT LIVE IN-STUDIO OR FOLLOWING ALONG ONLINE DURING A BUYING TRIP ABROAD, WE BELIEVE THE STORY BEHIND AN OBJECT IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS THE FINAL RESULT. WE INVITE YOU TO TAKE THIS JOURNEY WITH US.
THE LITERAL DEFINITION OF 'HARBOR' MEANS TO 'GIVE SHELTER TO'. WE SEE OUR BUILDING AS A SAFE SPACE TO SHARE IDEAS, INCITE DISCOVERY AND FEED CURIOSITIES WITHOUT JUDGEMENT OR COMPETITION.
THE INTERIOR DESIGNER
BMA AT HOME
Breckyn Alexander is a practicing residential and commercial Interior Designer and LEED Consultant. The past 10 years in the industry have polished her knowledge and appreciation for interior design and furnishings. She opened BMA At Home in 2014 in Athens, GA, as an extension of her established interior design business, BMA Designs.
BMA At Home is a curated collection of interiors and art that reflects Alexander's pioneering take on design. She selects products that are built to last and add a unique feel to your space. It may be a handsomely-crafted club chair, fully-designed and manufactured in the US, that completes your living room, a piece by a local Athens' artist that flanks your fireplace, or a vintage Indian door ornament repurposed as a coat hook that intrigues your guests. No matter your personal selection, BMA At Home's curated collection of interiors are bound to spark conversations and give your home a collected presence.
